I was married once upon a time. I have two daughters, a granddaughter, two grandsons and two great granddaughters. I love them all dearly.
What does that say about me?
Well, for one thing, I’m getting on in years, I came into this world in the fall of 1945. The era in which I became an adult was at the forefront of the women’s sexual awakening, gaining the right to abortion and the start of equality in the work place. Living in those years, attending college at the University of Vermont, I was active in civil rights and the protest movements to end the Vietnam War. There were assassinations, deadly riots, Watergate. When the war finally ended, with so many lives tragically lost, both those that fought for and against that war found little cause for celebration.
Through Letters Written and Answered, Short Stories and Political Commentary, I am hoping to provide my perspective on not just those tumultuous years, but how they continue to shape our current cultural divide.
In my writings here I hope you will find
Something of value…
Thank you,
